Panic Attacks
If you’ve ever had a panic attack, you’ll know how terrifying it can be. Your heart races, you can’t breathe, you might feel dizzy or sick, and the fear that it will happen again can start to dominate your life. You’re not overreacting, and you’re certainly not alone.

Living with panic
Panic attacks can come out of nowhere, or they might be triggered by specific situations. Either way, the physical sensations are intense and frightening. Many people describe feeling like they’re having a heart attack or losing control.
The fear of the next attack can be almost as debilitating as the attack itself. You might start avoiding places, situations, or activities in case it happens again. Over time, your world can become smaller and smaller.
How therapy can help
In our sessions, we can explore what’s behind your panic. The anxiety, stress, or unprocessed feelings that might be driving it. Understanding why your body and mind respond the way they do can itself be deeply reassuring.
I’ll provide a calm, steady presence. There’s no pressure to do anything other than talk, about whatever feels important. Many people find that as they begin to understand and process what’s going on for them, the panic starts to lose its grip.
