Anxiety & Stress
Anxiety can feel like a constant hum in the background of your life, or it can hit you like a wave, out of nowhere. Either way, it’s exhausting. If you’re living with anxiety or stress that feels like too much, you don’t have to keep pushing through it alone.
You don’t have to keep pushing through it alone
What anxiety can look like
Anxiety shows up differently for everyone. You might feel a tightness in your chest, a racing mind that won’t switch off, or a sense of dread you can’t quite explain. Perhaps you’re avoiding things you used to enjoy, or you find yourself constantly worrying about what might happen next.
Stress can build slowly, through work, relationships, or just the demands of everyday life, until it starts to feel unmanageable. You might not even realise how much you’ve been carrying until someone asks you how you are and you don’t know what to say.
How therapy can help
In our sessions, you’ll have a space where you don’t need to perform or hold it together. You can talk about what’s troubling you, or just sit with the feelings, without any pressure to have the answers.
I won’t give you a list of techniques to try or tell you to think positively. Instead, we’ll explore what’s driving your anxiety together, at your pace. Many people find that simply being heard, really heard, begins to ease the weight of it.
