Confidence

A lack of confidence can quietly shape your whole life. It can hold you back from going for that job, speaking up in a meeting, ending a relationship that isn’t working, or simply feeling comfortable in your own skin. If you’ve been playing small, you don’t have to keep doing that.

How low confidence shows up

Low confidence often goes hand in hand with a harsh inner voice, one that tells you you’re not good enough, not capable enough, or not deserving of good things. You might second-guess every decision, compare yourself constantly to others, or avoid challenges because you’re convinced you’ll fail.

It can affect every area of your life. Work, relationships, social situations, even how you spend your free time. And because it often develops gradually, you might not realise how much it’s holding you back.

How therapy can help

Building confidence isn’t about becoming loud or bold. It’s about trusting yourself, your feelings, your instincts, your right to take up space. Therapy can help you get there by giving you a space where you’re genuinely valued, just as you are.

We can explore where your self-doubt comes from, challenge the beliefs that keep you playing small, and help you reconnect with your own strengths. It’s a gentle process, and we’ll go at your pace.

If self-doubt is holding you back, I’d love to help you find your voice.
